Dan grafis dari adreno 330 mungkin kalau dari segi spesifikasi fisik hampir tidak ada perubahan, namun Yang membedakan dari sodara mudanya adalah Galaxy S5 Active memiliki MIL-STD-810G certified, yaitu sebuah lisensi atau sertifikat resmi dari negara yang sedang berkembang pesat saat ini yaitu amerika serikat yang menyatakan tahan terhadap debu, kelembaban, hujan, getaran, dan radiasi matahari. Perbedaan lainnya adalah tidak adanya sensor sidik jari pada tombol home pada ponsel seperti pada Samsung Galaxy S5 sebelumnya.
